The Farmstead at Medford (an Independent Living Senior Community) is accepting applications for part-time Drivers to join our team! We offer a first‑class experience for residents and their guests. Our Transportation Team delivers outstanding service to our residents, focusing on lasting impressions and memorable experiences. The Driver is primarily responsible for transporting residents to medical appointments, shopping trips, outings and extended trips as scheduled.
The Driver also supports the community with deliveries, errands, and other tasks that support service excellence and resident satisfaction.
Schedule: Weekdays and weekends available. Various shifts – primarily between the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM.

- Drive community van or vehicle for resident outings.
- Assist residents on and off van, track attendance and coordinate equipment (walkers, canes, etc.).
- Anticipate the needs of residents, assisting with groceries and other purchased items – with potential deliveries to an apartment.
- Monitor and respond to emergencies.
- Serve a senior population and provide quality service for each resident we serve.

- Perform all other duties assigned in an effective, timely and professional manner.
- A high School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Take initiative, and are independent, a problem‑solver, able to resolve inquiries.
- Ability to multi‑task, balance team and individual responsibilities and respond promptly to resident and visitor needs while projecting resort‑like hospitality.
- Knowledge of the local community, area, and region preferred.
- Previous work in transportation, safety, customer service, or hospitality.
- Must possess current and valid driver’s license – with personal driving record consistent with the requirements of the job position.
- Desire to support requests from the Executive Director and leadership team.
- Experience and interest in working in a team environment, supporting and caring for those we serve.
