Overview
We re GPD, a fast growing golf simulator install company that believes in the power of golf to connect people of all backgrounds, and help people enjoy life more. We design, install, and create some of the most unique and custom golf simulators in the world. Our office showroom is located in Medford, NY just off exit 65 off the expressway where this in person position would be.
We re a family owned shop with big goals and have been growing every year for the last 6 years. We re looking for more help in our 3D design department since our design queue is getting backed up.
Responsibilities- Assist with 3D design in Sketch Up to create layouts for basements and golf simulator rooms of all kinds.
- Contribute to design concepts that are practical for builders to follow, incorporating construction terminology and best practices where applicable.
- Collaborate with the team and communicate ideas effectively in front of groups and customers as needed.
- Proficient with Sketch Up 3D modeling.
- Knowledge of construction terminology and related know-how.
- Interest in golf and designing spaces around golf simulation setups.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to grow with a fast-moving team and adapt to busy periods.
The position offers a starting compensation range from $25 - $35 per hour, based on experience, with availability during busy seasons for overtime pay. A typical work week will be between 40-45 hours.
