In business 45 years and continuing to grow, we supply critical parts and electro‑mechanical sub‑assemblies for all major military aircraft – fixed and rotary – as well as ground‑support systems you likely see in the news. Our products are also used on most Boeing and some Airbus projects, and are used by some of the country’s top manufacturing firms in a variety of other industries.

We are looking for a career‑focused CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist to work on evening shifts. This is a full‑time on‑site role located in Medford, NY. Part‑time afternoon or evening hours may be considered for candidates with the right experience.

• 5+ years working in an aerospace, military, medical or industrial machine shop required.
• Experience with Turning, Swiss, and/or Milling machines or CNC Machine Operator certificate required.
• Experience in CNC machine set up and operation required, including both legacy components and new production orders.
• Experience editing and programming with CAD/CAM software and CNC programs a plus.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints required.
• Knowledge of AS9100 a plus.
• Experience holding tolerances to .0002" and .001 True Position.
• Working knowledge of various materials & tools (inserts, endmills, drills, etc.) required.
• Ability to use measuring tools as required (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
• Good planning and organization skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Must be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques.
• Must be a US person as defined by (ITAR) The International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to regularly stand and lift 20 lbs, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

• Verify components are produced to print (dimensional and visual inspection), holding tight tolerance of +/- .0002.
• Make offsets.
• Start the machining cycle.
• Load and unload parts in the machine.
• Complete all paperwork related to production.
• Change tooling as needed.
• Meet quality standards and production schedules.
• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Ensure proper material control, identification, and traceability for conforming and nonconforming materials.
• Maintain safe working conditions and follow occupational safety and health requirements, including PPE guidance.
• Support Quality Best Practices and contribute to continuous improvement.

Shop open 6 AM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday.

Individual schedule is negotiable.

Day shift, evening shift, overtime as available, weekends as needed.

Pay:
Up to $50.00 per hour.

Expected hours: 20–50 per week.
