This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Set Up Machinist
- Shop Lead. The position is located in Medford, NY. The CNC Set Up Machinist
- Shop Lead will be responsible for setting up and overseeing machining, milling, turning, and Swiss. Helping to train new to the industry machinists while meeting production goals.

• 5+ years working in an aerospace machine shop with a good understanding of the working qualities of various metals.
• Understanding of machining processes, tooling.
• Ability to use measuring tools as required (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Good planning and organization skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Dependable, Enthusiastic and driven to succeed
• Programming and editing experience a plus.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programs a plus.
• Turning, Swiss, and/or Milling experience required.
• Experience in CNC machine set up and operation
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience holding tolerances to .0002" and .001 True Position

40 – 50 per week

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
