Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join the dynamic surgical team at a premier academic medical center. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both circulating and scrubbing duties across multiple surgical specialties, providing exceptional care in a fast-paced environment.

- Work Schedule:
- Full-time position.
- Days/Evenings.
- Mix of 4x8-hour shifts (07:00–15:30, 11:00–19:30, 15:00–23:30) and 4x12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30, 11:00–23:30).
- 80 hours biweekly.
- Monday–Friday, with every 3rd weekend required.

- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Active New York State RN license; BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in general, ortho, trauma, neuro, and robotics cases. Must be able to scrub in addition to circulating duties. - Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure surgical environments.
- Perform circulating and scrubbing duties in various surgical procedures.
- Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
- Monitor and maintain sterile field throughout procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Document patient care accurately and completely. - Manage operating room equipment and inventory.
