We are a large, successful and growing mortgage brokerage seeking an experienced, licensed Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) to join our team in Medford, Oregon. This position is ideal for a motivated mortgage professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service to borrowers, referral partners, and lending professionals.
This role requires active participation in the mortgage origination process; therefore, applicants must hold an active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license and have a minimum of two (2) years of mortgage industry experience
.
- Support Loan Officer throughout the mortgage process from application to closing.
- Assist borrowers with gathering and submitting required documentation.
- Review loan files for completeness and accuracy before submission.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, investor, and company guidelines.
- Deliver a high level of customer service that reflects our commitment to client satisfaction.
- Make a minimum of 80 to 100+ prospecting calls from existing lead data base daily.
- Candidate must hold an active Oregon MLO license and must be properly sponsored by the company in NMLS before engaging in any mortgage loan origination activity.
Required:
- Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in mortgage lending, loan origination, processing, or a Loan Officer Assistant role.
- Strong knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and non-QM loan programs.
- Experience working within a mortgage brokerage environment preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with mortgage loan origination software and standard office applications.
