Position Summary
The Teller will be responsible for daily teller transactions in both the lobby and drive‑up locations of the branch. The position also involves delivering outstanding client service, developing and maintaining client relationships, and identifying referral opportunities for additional products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Process deposits, loan payments, cash checks, savings withdrawals, night and mail deposits, cashier’s checks, and savings bonds.
- Answer client questions in person and over the telephone.
- Prepare currency transaction reports and handle additional transactions as needed.
- Identify cross‑sell and referral opportunities and inform clients of new services and promotions.

View. - Process consumer credit card applications.
- Complete special client requests, such as closing accounts, ordering checks, exchanging foreign currency, providing statements or copies, and performing safe‑deposit box procedures.
- Reconcile cash drawer, verify cash transactions, count and package currency and coin, submit excess and mutilated currency to the vault custodian, and maintain cash supplies.
- Comply with bank operations and security procedures, including dual‑control functions, client‑traffic surveys, audit other teller currency, and assist in certification of proof.
- Maintain client confidentiality and protect bank operations by withholding sensitive information.
- Attend training sessions to enhance job knowledge.
- Support team members and accept volunteer activities to contribute to client service and bank success.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Experience in a cash handling role preferred.
Physical Demands and Working EnvironmentRepresentative of those that must be met or encountered to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- Dexterity of hands/fingers to operate computer keyboard and mouse.
- Frequent handling, hearing, talking, and walking.
- Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
- Occasional standing, sitting, and noise level moderate.
