Prepare and dispense medications in compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws
Provide thoughtful, patient-focused counseling and medication education
Design, monitor, and evaluate patient-specific pharmacotherapy
Serve as a drug information resource for providers, patients, and caregivers
Deliver safe, accurate, and patient-centered care in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment, balancing efficiency with individualized attention and clinical judgment
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient, high-quality operations
Maintain accurate computerized medication profiles and inventory systems
Support continuity of care across ambulatory and acute settings
Participate in medication safety, error reporting, and quality improvement initiatives
Foster positive, collaborative relationships across the care team
Required
Strong working knowledge of pharmacokinetics, drug utilization review, and medication distribution
Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Preferred
Experience in a hospital-affiliated or community-based pharmacy setting
Board of Pharmacy Licensed Preceptor
Hospital pharmacy background
Immunization certification (or willingness to obtain within 18 months)
Active Oregon Pharmacist license or eligibility for reciprocity
Minimum three (3) years of retail pharmacy experience
BLS certification required within 60 days of hire
