POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Vice President of Procurement is responsible for developing and leading the enterprise-wide procurement strategy across all brands, business units, and operating entities. This role provides executive oversight of strategic sourcing, category management, supplier relationships, third-party manufacturing, and procurement operations, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives for growth, margin, risk management, and customer experience.
As a key member of the Operations leadership team, the SVP of Procurement is accountable for leveraging total company spend, driving cross-brand synergies, standardizing procurement governance, and delivering measurable value through cost optimization, innovation, resilience, and strategic supplier partnerships. This role collaborates closely with senior leaders in Merchandising, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Product Development, Quality, and Technology.

Enterprise Leadership Responsibilities- Provide executive leadership for the enterprise procurement organization, encompassing strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, and procurement operations.
- Inspire and guide teams through enterprise-scale growth, transformation, and complexity while maintaining a customer-first, brand-conscious mindset.
- Build and retain a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing leadership team equipped to meet current and future enterprise needs.
- Establish a strong leadership presence and develop a robust succession pipeline across procurement functions and geographies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on procurement strategy, supplier risk, cost structure, and supply chain initiatives.
- De fine and execute the enterprise procurement strategy in alignment with corporate objectives, growth plans, and financial targets.
- Own procurement governance across the enterprise, including policies and operating models, to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability.
- Lead annual and long-range planning for procurement, encompassing budgets, savings goals, investment priorities, and capability roadmaps.
- Partner with Finance to drive margin improvement, optimize working capital, and ensure long-term cost competitiveness.
- Collaborate with executive peers on M&A activities, integrations, supplier rationalization, and synergy realization.
- Ensure transparency and accountability for performance across brands and business units.
- Establish enterprise category strategies for direct and indirect spend, leveraging scale to maximize value and supplier performance.
- Lead spend analytics and value realization, including savings identification and tracking across the enterprise.
- Oversee strategic supplier and third-party manufacturing relationships, driving executive-level partnerships and proactive risk mitigation.
- Direct contract strategy and governance in collaboration with Legal, including negotiations, renewals, and compliance.
- Partner with Merchandising, Product Development, Operations, and Production to enable innovation, accelerate speed to market, and ensure quality.
- Champion adoption and optimization of procurement tools and systems (e.g., ERP, MRP, EDI, sourcing platforms).
- Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to measure procurement effectiveness.
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards, ethical sourcing, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for growth and innovation, including co-manufacturing, supplier-driven innovation, and long-term strategic partnerships.
- Lead change management initiatives to advance procurement capabilities across the enterprise.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
- Minimum of 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related disciplines
- Proven executive-level experience managing enterprise-scale procurement across multiple brands, facilities, and categories
- Demonstrated success driving enterprise savings, synergies, and value creation
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and lead across C-suite and senior leadership levels
- Deep experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and strategic partnerships
- Strong knowledge of CPG and/or vertically integrated manufacturing environments preferred
