Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our Orthopedics & Bone Health team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on bone health, orthopedics, and employee health, with no call requirements. As an FNP, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions, while promoting bone health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities- Orthopedic Care: Perform assessments, surgery optimization, develop care plans, and provide follow-up care for patients with orthopedic conditions (e.g., fractures, arthritis, sports injuries).
- Bone Health Management: Educate patients on osteoporosis prevention, management, and bone health, including counseling on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle modifications.
- Employee Health: Perform physical exams for employees to ensure their health and wellness needs are met. Treat minor outpatient medical conditions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and treatment coordination.

Education:
Counsel patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle changes that support bone and joint health. - Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations and practice standards.
- Follow-up Care: Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide ongoing support to ensure successful recovery and health maintenance.
- Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) with Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification.
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in [State].
- Certifications: Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC).
- Experience: Previous experience in primary care, employee health, bone health, or musculoskeletal conditions preferred.
Strong clinical skills in assessment, nutrition, health optimization, diagnosis, and treatment of orthopedic conditions. Excellent communication and patient education skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Other Requirements: Ability to perform basic physical exams, interpret diagnostic tests, and create care plans for patients with musculoskeletal disorders.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4.5 days a week, with no weekend or call requirements.
