• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes
• Administer complex medications and treatments following approved ICU nursing techniques
• Operate and manage advanced life‑support equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high‑acuity ICU environments, addressing physical and emotional needs
• Document significant conditions, reactions, and interventions, notifying the appropriate provider of changes in patient status
• Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring – arterial lines, central venous pressure, and pulmonary artery catheters
• Maintain timely and accurate medical record documentation to ensure continuity of care and regulatory compliance
• Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations
• Communicate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and technologies through ongoing education and training
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols to protect immunocompromised patients and reduce risks
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance ICU patient outcomes and operational efficiency
• Complete other duties as assigned within scope
• Follow hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

• One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications

• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
• TNCC, NIHSS certification
• Other relevant certifications or licenses

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication
• Excellent written and spoken English proficiency
• Ability to read/write/understand written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and basic PC skills
• Physical ability: remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lb), push/pull, bend
• Interpersonal ability: work effectively with personnel of all roles, maintain professionalism
• Technical ability: fine manipulation and assistance during procedures, use of department equipment
• Mental resilience: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work without close supervision, manage irregular schedules, maintain concentration to detail
• Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication
