Position Summary
This Registered Professional Nurse (RN) works under the guidance of the Home Health Clinical Supervisor and, on physician order, provides direct and indirect quality care for patients of all ages in alignment with the nursing process and Oregon State Board of Nurse Practice Act. The RN will accept professional development as an integral part of nursing practice, coordinate patient care activities with other team members in a collegial relationship, and uphold standards of confidentiality, attendance, and punctuality.
Key Responsibilities- Accountable for direct and indirect quality care for patients of all ages.
- Follow the nursing process and Oregon State Board of Nurse Practice Act.
- Accept professional development as an integral part of nursing practice.
- Coordinate patient care activities with other members of the health care team in a collegial relationship.
- Uphold standards of confidentiality, attendance, and punctuality.
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- 1 year of medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting for Home Health RN.
- 2 years of pediatric experience in an acute care setting for RN caring for pediatric patients.
Provision of a $5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
