Salary Range: $53.99 - $77.79
Shift Differentials- $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
- $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
- $2.50 extra for working weekends
Weekend sedation call coverage is required. External candidates may be eligible for Relocation Assistance!
Position SummaryAsante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC), located in Medford, is a 378-bed regional referral and level 2 trauma center featuring the latest medical technology and clinical expertise—an all patient‑focused philosophy. Our hospital team delivers nationally‑recognized heart and vascular care, orthopedic services, and cancer care, as well as a comprehensive range of other key services including neurology and neurosurgery, bariatric surgery, rehabilitation services, work health, diabetes care, hospice services, a primary stroke center, an accredited hospital‑based sleep center, and the region’s only neonatal intensive care unit.
A Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver responsible and accountable for their practice for assigned patient(s). Utilizing the nursing process, the RN delivers superb health care in a compassionate manner, is committed to excellence and empowered to streamline and improve operations.
- Consolidate sedation and coordination for CT/Ultrasound and Cath Lab
- Make care calls before and after procedures
- Verify med list for outpatients and communicate med holds
- Evaluate outpatient suitability for mod conscious sedation, refer to anesthesia when appropriate
- Help evaluate incoming inpatient procedure orders and coordinate scheduling with APPs/IRs
- Coordinate patient care with the floors (stop anticoagulation, NPO status, stability for sedation, etc.)
- Post procedure instructions for patients
- Recover post procedure (manages vascular access/removes access)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- 2 years of relevant moderate conscious sedation experience is required
- Cardiovascular Recovery department experience is required
- 1 year of imaging experience, critical care background or pediatric experience is preferred
- RN:
Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN), required upon start - BLS:
Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA), required upon start - ACLS:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, required upon start
