Role

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) responsible for delivering comprehensive perioperative patient care, ensuring safety, infection control, and high-quality surgical support.

• Prepare and organize the operating room, ensuring all instruments and supplies are sterile and ready.
• Assist in patient positioning, safety, and comfort before surgery.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control protocols during procedures.
• Support the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies promptly.
• Monitor patient condition during surgery, document changes, and communicate with the team.
• Handle surgical instruments, specimens, and ensure proper sterilization and documentation.
• Participate in pre- and post-operative handoff communication and room turnover.
• Adhere to safety policies, including PPE use and infection prevention.

• Minimum one year of recent OR RN experience.
• Valid RN license; current BLS certification.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move and handle equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and following instructions.
• Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail, and collaborate effectively.
