Facilities Engineer – Providence Medford Medical Center
The Facilities Engineer supports the physical environment required for the delivery of health care services at Providence Medford Medical Center, ensuring the reliability and safety of the facility by monitoring, operating, and maintaining building systems and equipment. This role requires a working knowledge of stationary engineer and maintenance electrician duties, and a commitment to continually develop knowledge of new processes, equipment, and technologies used to carry out the work.
Required Qualifications- Stationary engineer apprenticeship or electrician apprenticeship and equivalent training or work experience.
- State, County, or City Trade License Authority upon hire (National Electrician Supervisor License, National Electrician Journeyman License, National Electrician Limited Maintenance License, or National Electrician Limited Building Maintenance License).
- Provision of a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance, if driving is required.
- Computerized building management systems (DDC) training or equivalent work experience.
- EPA 608 Universal Refrigeration Technician certification upon hire.
- ASSE 6040 Medical Gas Maintenance certification upon hire.
- OHA Backflow Assembly Tester certification upon hire.
- Oregon Boiler License – Class 2 or higher upon hire.
- Three years of experience in central plant operations and maintenance.
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
- Free and ample parking.

Position:
Full‑time, Night shift Pay Range: $29.56 – $45.88 per hour, with additional compensation such as shift differentials, overtime, and bonus opportunities.
