Job SummaryWe are looking for a residential/commercial painter to join our team! You will be preparing and performing professional exterior and interior painting jobs in a residential and light commercial setting.
You are an experienced residential and/or commercial painter who’s looking to be part of an energetic and effective team. You believe in a job done right and take pride in delivering a quality service to customers. A positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities- Always put safety first.
- Interact in a friendly, professional manner with customers.
- Positively invest in relationships with coworkers to foster an exceptional, highly productive, and drama‑free team.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, and sanding.
- Repair cracks/holes using spackle, caulk, putty, and drywall mud.
- Paint by hand and spray, and demonstrate proper techniques.
- Identify proper materials for various prep and painting applications.
- Inspect paint jobs for quality.
- Perform inspection/maintenance of equipment.
- Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- On-the-job training and mentorship from crew leaders.
