Hourly rate negotiable based on experience.
Job Description- Install and commission new and used CNC machinery (Milling, Lathe and EDM). Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearbox and bearings on all CNC equipment. Perform basic electrical trouble‑shooting.
- Plan and assist in the implementation of a rigorous preventative maintenance program as well as a predictive maintenance program to minimize machine downtime.
- 3 years' prior Field Service experience. Background in PLC and computer controls. Excellent troubleshooting capabilities with the ability to take a logical approach to problem solving.
- Knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain, Siemens. Knowledge/experience maintaining fully automated equipment.
- Ability to use technical manuals and read mechanical and electrical drawings. Ability to use high precision tools. Computer literate.
- Available to work outside of regular business hours and perform on‑call support as required.
- Millwright certification an asset.
