This role is ideal for a strong swimmer and experienced lifeguard who can lead by example, support swim lessons and staff training, and stay calm and decisive when it counts. • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or senior in high school on track to graduate.
• Must be 18 years or older at time of hire.
• One (1) or more years of experience working at a public pool as a lifeguard and swim instructor.
• Must be comfortable working in a humid environment.
• Must be comfortable communicating with staff, parents, and children.
• Skills pre-test required prior to hire.

• Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification or Starfish Aquatics Institute (SGI) Star Guard lifeguard certification.
• Current First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer certifications.

• Rogue X is open 7-days a week, 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Hours will vary based on facility need and availability.

• Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) retirement contributions paid by employer for part-time, year-round positions.
• Paid sick leave – one (1) hour accrued for every 30 hours worked.
