Overview
The main responsibility of the Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver is to deliver orders to designated locations on time. Punctuality and honesty are the attitudes required from applicants for this position. Delivery Drivers should be able to read a basic road map. Deliveries must be correct and on time in a courteous manner. Delivery Drivers are also expected to ensure that delivery vehicles are well maintained before and after the shift.
They aid in food preparation, take customer orders, perform cleaning duties and rotate food shipments, which may involve lifting up to 50 pounds. They must be well versed in product details, services, charges, and other related information to assist customers when needed.
While performing the duties of this job, team members may work outdoors in various temperatures, in a noisy environment, near moving mechanical parts, with dangerous equipment or sharp tools, and around fumes, odors, dust or toxic chemicals. This job can be physically demanding: team members may need to use hands repetitively, stand for prolonged periods, bend over, twist, reach above shoulder level, crouch, stoop or kneel.
Responsibilities- Pre-Delivery vehicle preparations
- Learn the delivery area
- Check orders for quality and accuracy
- Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in person or by phone
- Food preparation and packaging
- Take orders and collect payments
- Cleaning and maintenance of the store and its equipment
- Rotate commissary deliveries
We will ensure you are trained and have a positive learning experience when you join our team. Wage for all Delivery Drivers is minimum wage, with reimbursement for gas consumption based on a third-party surveyor’s recommended rate (currently $1.60 per run), and reimbursement for data usage and any credit card/cash tips paid to the driver by customers.

- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a driver's license valid under the laws of the state where employed, and have been licensed for two or more years
- Have an acceptable motor vehicle record/driving abstract, with no more than two moving violations and one accident in the last year. Anyone with a DUI or speeding ticket over 25 mph will not be considered for the position
- Be insured and have a satisfactory vehicle
- Be able to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and emergencies
- Be willing to learn and be comfortable with cross-training and performing other workstation duties within the restaurant as needed
