Per ESPA Agreement - $22.37/hour after 90-day probation
The Rose Tree Media School District is seeking caring, dependable, and student-centered individuals to serve as Library Aide for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, collaborates effectively with teachers and support staff, and is committed to helping all students achieve success in a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree, college coursework, or relevant experience working with children preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities, and learning needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to follow instructional and behavioral plans under the direction of professional staff.
- Demonstrated patience, flexibility, and a commitment to supporting student growth and independence.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in working with students and families.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to utilize district technology systems as required.
- Experience working in educational, childcare, recreational, or related settings preferred.
The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The position requires the ability to actively supervise and assist students throughout the school day, including frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and movement within classrooms and other school environments.
Duties may include assisting students with mobility, personal care, and daily living activities, as assigned. The ability to lift, carry, or assist students and materials consistent with assigned responsibilities may be required. Work is performed primarily in an indoor school setting.
