Host​/Hostess

As a Host/Hostess with Aramark in the Accommodation & Food Services industry, you create a welcoming first impression for guests and support smooth front-of-house operations. You will greet and seat guests, manage reservations and waitlists, and coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain efficient table flow. You'll handle basic guest questions and concerns, keep the entrance and host stand clean and organized, and follow safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and seat guests according to seating chart and service flow
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow during peak periods
• Communicate wait times and service updates clearly and courteously
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen to optimize table turns and guest experience
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entrance area
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines
• Handle basic guest inquiries, concerns, and directions
• Support opening and closing procedures as assigned
