ACCOR Jasper Park Lodge – Jasper, AB. Permanent, full‑time. Salary: $85,000–$95,000 per year.

As the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, you will work closely with the Director to drive operational excellence, create memorable guest experiences, and lead a diverse team across multiple outlets including outdoor venues and banquets.

• Lead, mentor, and train the Food & Beverage operations team.
• Ensure Food & Beverage brand standards are maintained.
• Strategize on new products and service offerings.
• Create unforgettable experiences for guests and develop strategies to achieve goals.
• Forecast staffing needs, schedule shifts, and manage $‑budgeted staffing costs.
• Assist Department Heads in developing and revising job descriptions.
• Oversee training for new and current team members, conduct regular training sessions.
• Control standards, performance, employee conduct, dress code, appearance, sanitation, and policies.
• Conduct annual performance reviews for the leadership team and support direct reports.
• Communicate hotel policies and changes promptly.
• Manage outlet expenses, focus on revenue generation and profitability.
• Ensure all menu items, wine list, and kitchen supplies are fully understood by staff.
• Maintain inventory, par levels, and equipment in optimal condition.
• Handle guest complaints and oversee revenue‑generating initiatives.
• Conduct quarterly menu analysis and menu engineering.
• Develop and maintain wine stock and wine list.
• Translate profit & loss statements and prepare divisional budgets.
• Support hiring, retention, and disciplinary processes.
• Manage crisis communication and safety protocols for the Food & Beverage division.

• Previous Food & Beverage experience in a senior leadership role in restaurant and banquet operations.
• Multi‑unit experience is an asset.
• Excellent wine and beverage knowledge; sommelier diploma preferred.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications.
• University or College degree in a related discipline preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
