Director of Care

Position: Director of Care at Optima Living
Lead compassionate care at Optima Living as the Director of Care in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Oversee resident care quality while ensuring a person-centered approach and regulatory compliance across our community.

Reporting to the General Manager, this key leadership role requires a strong nursing background to manage clinical operations and spearhead care planning. You will mentor the clinical team, implement policies, and ensure that care delivery meets the highest standards. This position emphasizes resident dignity and autonomy while fostering an engaged community environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the clinical team in care delivery

• Oversee the development of resident care plans

Requirements:

• Graduate from an approved nursing program

• Active nursing license in Alberta

• Minimum one year of leadership experience
