P&D Operations Manager

Fed Ex is seeking an experienced  P&D Operations Manager  at its Medicine Hat, Alberta location. This is a temporary position up to 1 year with Federal Express Corporation Canada.

Role

Summary:

To supervise, coordinate and control Pick-Up and Delivery Operations within the service area of the station to achieve maximum service objectives. To supervise, coordinate and control warehouse and ramp operations to achieve maximum service objectives.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily Pick-Up and Delivery Operations across the station's service area

Oversee warehouse and ramp operations to meet Fed Ex service objectives

Lead and support team members in performing their duties safely and effectively

Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where needed

Ensure compliance with Fed Ex policies, safety regulations, and industry standards

Complete mandatory training and maintain required annual accreditations

Operate in a PC Windows environment using MS Office tools

Work varying shifts based on business needs

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Four (4) years Fed Ex or industry experience

Demonstrated basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record

Must currently be a member of Fed Ex management or LEAP/EXCEL endorsed

Ability to lift 70 lbs. and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs. with appropriate equipment

Bilingual (French and English) if residing in Quebec
