INSTRUMENTATION JOURNEYPERSONS

PTW is hiring Instrumentation Journeypersons to join our team in Brooks, AB! If you are a certified Instrumentation Journeyperson, we want to hear from you! We welcome out-of-town talent, with relocation assistance available for the successful candidate.

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

• Perform maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems in oil and gas production and processing facilities.
• Work with transmitters, control valves, actuators, analyzers, PLCs, and field instrumentation.
• Support commissioning and start-up of new or upgraded facilities.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, and technical manuals.
• Collaborate with electricians, operators, and other trades to maintain safe, reliable operations.
• Maintain accurate records and follow all PTW safety and quality procedures.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess maintenance and industrial oil field instrumentation experience.
• Must be a certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technician
• Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.
• Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).
• Commissioning and start up experience is an asset
• Excellent communication skills.
• A demonstrated ability to work safely.
• Must be local to the area or within driving distance

TICKETS REQUIREMENTS

• Must have applicable safety tickets (i.e. CSTS-09, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Arrest, WHMIS 2015)
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
