Pride One Construction is currently searching for a Project Accountant to collect and process all invoicing and billing adhering to proper SOPs for AIA Draw assembly and execution.

Pride One is a commercial construction company based in NE Ohio who has built and/or renovated apartments, hotels, student housing, assisted living facilities and churches and quickly became a full service “turnkey.” We are currently expanding to several other regions and are seeking qualified candidates to join our team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of full cycle accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Construction experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to convey the importance of documentation clearly and quickly
• Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understands all SOPs and demands- able to execute with quality and efficiency, using all available resources
• Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects to meet timelines
• Moderate to above average computer software skills
• Proficient in Excel and Word with continued learning new software systems as needed

Our Project Accountant duties include:

• Process all project-related invoices
• Obtain and upload contract documents to the accounting system
• Prepare and submit monthly AIA and draw documentation
• Collect and review signed subcontractor lien waivers and other project documentation
• Process weekly check runs
• Collect and track vendor insurance documents for compliance
• Complete monthly job cost entries as needed
• Monthly tracking and review of job costs
• Complete the final project close out once construction is completed
• Participation in monthly project pulse meetings
• Maintain open communication with those directly involved in the project
• Work closely and productively with all departments to9 ensure success
• All other responsibilities as assigned

Pride One Construction had its roots as a land development and Cluster Home Community builder of age targeted homes over 20 years ago. Construction was primarily focused on projects in Northeast Ohio. We quickly became a full service “turnkey” developer. Land was identified for a particular end user; financing would be secured; and then zoning, building plans, utilities, roads and lots were all crafted by the team of Pride One professionals.
