Automotive Service Technician

Automotive Service Technicians at Rad Air make up the bulk of our technician workforce, and are responsible for performing digital vehicle inspections, executing basic diagnostics & testing procedures, and successfully completing various maintenance, repair, and service procedures on both domestic and foreign vehicles.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities:

Perform digital vehicle inspections and diagnostics to address client concerns.
Document results of inspections and diagnostics using Tekmetric shop software.
Service vehicles as directed by replacing/repairing parts, or performing regular and preventative maintenance services.
Utilize shop equipment to perform fluid exchanges, wheel/tire balancing, and alignments.
Observe and follow all necessary safety guidelines and regulations when operating machinery, equipment, and tools.
Maintain Rad Air's clean workspace and shop standards at all times.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum (2) years of experience as an automotive technician.
Clean driving record

Additional Qualifications:

An Associate's degree in Automotive Technology is desired but not a requirement.
ASE certifications are highly desirable but not a requirement.
