Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based special education teaching opportunity is available in Cleveland, Ohio, serving students in grades K-3. This contract position offers a full-time schedule with 37.5 hours per week over 5 days. The role focuses on providing instructional support and specialized education tailored to the needs of young learners with disabilities.
Qualifications and
Experience:
- Ohio Special Education Teaching Certification required
- Experience working with K-3 students in a special education setting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student learning
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet educational goals
- Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings
