Medina City Schools Support Staff Positions

Medina Civil Service is creating eligible candidate lists for several positions:

• Instructional Paraprofessional (Teacher’s Aide) – $17.63 per hour, part‑time, usually 27.5 hours/week. Work one‑on‑one with special needs students or in small groups to facilitate learning. Summers, Spring Break, and Winter Break are off.
• Support Paraprofessional – $15.66 per hour, part‑time, 2‑3 hours a day. Assist teachers in providing supervision to students most often during lunch and recess. Summers, Spring Break, and Winter Break are off.
• Custodian – $19.39 per hour, full‑time, 2nd or 3rd shift.
• Cafeteria Cook – $15.66 per hour, part‑time, 5 hours a day. Assist in preparation and service of nutritious and appealing meals to students and staff in an efficient, pleasant, and sanitary manner. Summers, Spring Break, and Winter Break are off.
• Bus Driver – starting wage $23.02‑$24.95 based on experience. No civil service test required.

All regular jobs with Medina City Schools receive paid holidays and earned sick & personal time.

For a more flexible schedule for the above positions, consider a substitute position. No civil service test required for these as‑needed positions.
