Special Education Aide - Intensive - Granger Elementary

Special Education Aide Intensive Needs Classroom

The Highland Local School District has an opening for a Special Education Aide for an Intensive Needs classroom at Granger Elementary School. This position will be for 5.5 hours per day beginning with the 2026-27 school year.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required. Strong work ethic, flexibility, positive interactive abilities with students and adults, and a total understanding and acceptance of the rules of confidentiality. This person will also need to obtain background checks and a certificate from the State of Ohio to serve as an aide.

Job Duties:

Working with individuals and/or small groups of students under teacher direction. Experience working with students with special education needs is preferred.

Salary:
The person selected to fill this position will be placed at the appropriate step of the salary schedule contained in the negotiated agreement between the Highland Support Staff and the Highland Board of Education.
