This is a part‑time, on‑site role based in Medina, OH for a Diversion Clinician. The Diversion Clinician will provide behavioral health/ SUD services aimed at individuals involved in the criminal justice system.
Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, coordinating care with community partners, monitoring clients’ progress, and providing individual or group counseling. The clinician will also collaborate with local agencies to support diversion efforts and reduce recidivism rates.
Qualifications- Strong assessment, counseling, and treatment planning skills
- Knowledge of mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and trauma‑informed care
- Proficiency in case management, coordination of services, and community collaboration
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work with justice‑involved populations and navigate complex systems
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; licensure in relevant field (e.g., LPC, LSW, LISW, LPCC) required
- Ability to work 1 evening a week.
