JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Develop, implement, and manage employee handbook.
  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, retirement plans, and leave programs.
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding, including posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and facilitating new hire orientation.
  • Act as a liaison for general HR related policy question from employees including, but not limited to: time off, benefits, etc.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Compile and analyze HR data to prepare reports for management.
  • Manage PTO and process payroll biweekly

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field and at least 2 years of HR experience OR Associates degree and 4 years of HR experience OR 6+ years of HR experience without a degree.
  • HR Certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources
  • General knowledge of labor and employment laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn HRMS/Sage systems quickly.
