About the Opportunity

Brock
11 is partnering with a growing food manufacturer to identify an experienced HR Business Partner, Senior Manager who thrives at the intersection of people strategy and business performance.

This is not a traditional HR management role. As a trusted advisor to plant leadership, you will help shape workforce strategy, build leadership capability, strengthen employee engagement, and create an environment where both people and the business can succeed.

If you enjoy influencing leaders, solving complex business challenges, partnering with operations, and driving organizational effectiveness in a manufacturing environment, this is an outstanding opportunity to make a lasting impact.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to plant leadership.
  • Lead workforce planning and talent strategies that support business growth.
  • Coach and advise leaders on employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development.
  • Partner with leaders to identify succession planning and talent development opportunities.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Support exempt and non-exempt recruiting efforts while partnering with Talent Acquisition and other HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Develop staffing plans and organizational workforce strategies.
  • Lead employee relations initiatives while ensuring fair, consistent application of company policies.
  • Partner with operational leadership to resolve complex employee issues.
  • Serve as the HR representative during union grievance processes and participate in collective bargaining activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain HR documentation and employment records in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Partner with leadership to analyze workforce metrics, trends, and KPIs.
  • Support annual performance management, compensation, and talent review processes.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and organizational culture efforts.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure consistent execution of enterprise HR initiatives.
What Success Looks Like
  • Become a trusted advisor to operational leadership.
  • Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Influence leaders through collaboration rather than authority.
  • Develop proactive workforce strategies instead of simply reacting to issues.
  • Improve employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Utilize data and workforce analytics to support sound business decisions.
  • Help develop future leaders through coaching, succession planning, and talent development.
  • Successfully balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day operational support.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Seven or more years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Strong experience supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in both union and non-union environments.
  • Demonstrated success in employee relations and labor relations.
  • Experience supporting contract negotiations is highly preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategy to operational objectives.
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading organizational change initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and recommend business solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Strategic yet hands-on.
  • Business-minded with a strong operational focus.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and organizational change.
  • A collaborative partner who earns trust quickly.
  • Confident influencing senior leaders.
  • Passionate about developing people and strengthening organizational culture.
  • Driven by continuous improvement and measurable business results.
Why You'll Love This Opportunity
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team.
  • Influence business decisions that directly impact organizational success.
  • Partner with experienced operational leaders.
  • Drive meaningful culture and talent initiatives.
  • Work in a collaborative manufacturing environment where HR has a true seat at the table.
  • Build long-term leadership capability while helping shape the future of the organization.
