* 2pm-10pm, OR 10PM-6PM

** What's a typical day as Logistics Specialist? You'll be:*
* + Providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers by taking orders, giving pricing information, and performing consultative sales

+ Explaining services and benefits to customers to assist with procurement of capacity and generating business leads for the sales organization

+ Supporting new and existing customer accounts to foster business development

+ Creating orders, procuring loads, negotiating rates, and resolving freight-related issues

+ Updating customers regarding shipments via phone, email, and web-based channels

+ Facilitating effective communication with owner operators or outside agents to deliver cost-effective shipment solutions

+ Maintaining accuracy in order documentation and monitoring shipments to ensure on-time performance

+ Suggesting process improvements for continuous operational excellence

** This job might be an outstanding fit if you:*
* + Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required); a bachelor's degree is preferred

+ Bring two years of industry experience (preferred)

+ Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and are comfortable with computers

+ Are a strong communicator-both written and verbal-with great customer service and professional phone etiquette

+ Thrive in a fast-paced work environment and can effectively prioritize tasks

+ Demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and active listening skills

+ Are a team player with a positive attitude and strong individual initiative
