Maintenance Coordinator

• Tony Morgano, a Medina native and former Navy submarine officer, opened Chick-fil-A Medina in 2021 with a vision to develop people, serve the community, and pursue operational excellence.
• We believe a clean, safe, and well-maintained restaurant creates a better experience for both our team members and our guests. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Coordinator who takes ownership of our facility, pays attention to the details, and takes pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment.

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for caring for and stewarding our restaurant facility. This is a hands-on, operational role focused on maintaining cleanliness, coordinating repairs, managing supplies, and ensuring our restaurant remains in excellent condition.

You will spend approximately 90% of your time working operationally in the restaurant and 10% on administrative responsibilities.

• Maintain a Clean Restaurant: Ensure the cleanliness of our front-of-house, back-of-house, and exterior areas to provide a welcoming environment for our team and guests.
• Coordinate Maintenance & Repairs: Monitor maintenance requests, identify facility needs, and ensure repairs are communicated, prioritized, and completed in a timely manner.
• Own Cleaning & Maintenance Tasks: Complete and assign weekly and monthly cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep our facility operating at a high standard.
• Manage Supplies & Equipment: Order and organize facility cleaning and maintenance supplies, including mops, brushes, squeegees, and other necessary equipment.
• Stay Ahead of Facility Needs: Maintain a maintenance calendar, monitor ongoing repair needs, and help prevent small issues from becoming larger problems.
• Practice Good Stewardship: Help manage the repair and maintenance budget while ensuring maintenance tasks are completed consistently and thoroughly.

• Employment Type: Full-time or part-time opportunities available.
• Sunday Availability: Required to perform scheduled cleaning and maintenance.
• Schedule Flexibility: Must be available to support the restaurant's facility and maintenance needs, including Friday and Saturday availability as required by the role.
