** About the role

* Job Description:
** The 2nd Shift Supervisor is responsible for the safe, reliable & proper operation of the facility during their watch. They provide coordination of all plant activities between numerous departments & contractors.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel at the facility.
* Proper execution of the safety policies & procedures
* Issuing safety permits
* Coordinate maintenance activities
* Maximize operational performance of all aspects of the facility.
* Employee development. Train operators on systems & procedures
* Maintain the plant within all environmental limits & permits
* Direct supervision of shift crew
* Maintaining administrative records on personnel
* Implementing of the performance development system
* Maintaining administrative records on personnel
* Emergency response any injuries or accidents
* Troubleshoot plant operational issues
* Direct the completion of shift, daily, weekly, & monthly checks.
Position Requirements :
* Minimum 3 years of experience
* Ability to originate & monitor plant procedures, & technical instructions.
* Well-developed skills in troubleshooting equipment & systems, training personnel, & interpreting logic diagrams. Thorough knowledge of the Reworld permit system & employee health & safety manual.
* Must have good communications skills with all levels of personnel
* College degree or equivalent experience.
* Ability to work 2:30 to 11 pm M-F and occasional time outside of shift.
