Logistics Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Reporting to the Transportation Manager, this individual will be responsible for the business's transportation and logistics operations. This person will be the conduit between Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, Systems, Sales, Customers, and Vendors.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:00 A.M.

- 7:00 P.M.

• Coordinate and schedule all shipping activities.
• Assist in warehouse space utilization for OB Load Staging.
• Develop delivery schedules and drop shipment strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and files.
• Meet with Transportation Manager to resolve issues.
• Prepare and present daily shipping plans and correspondence.
• Collaborate with various departments to maximize daily OB Shipments.
• Communicate and escalate business challenges.
• Monitor inbound and outbound transportation requirements.
• Coordinate between planning, production, and shipping for schedule alignment.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Assist with special projects as directed.
• Implement company policies and initiatives.

• 1-3 years' experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, manufacturing, or related fields.
• Experience in warehouse, transportation, and manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of global and domestic supply chain concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.

• Understanding of manufacturing scheduling and planning.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines accurately.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong planning, organization, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing plant.
• Occasional reaching, squatting, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Occasional overtime may be required.
