The Electrical Tech 2 coordinates and executes maintenance electrical functions safely in the facility so the plant equipment and services perform at maximum levels and minimize unscheduled interruption of the plant operation. This position also trains other craft persons on electrical maintenance procedures and best practices and supports mechanical activities as needed. Strong knowledge of troubleshooting programmable logic controllers, electrical systems, and process control systems is required.
This is a full-time role that will report to the Electrical Foreman and indirectly to the Maintenance Leader. This position will begin as an 8-hr day shift, then, upon qualification and reasonable training period, will become an 8 hr night shift role.

- Strong computer aptitude (typing, MS office suite, etc.)
- Able to use a multimeter and other electrical troubleshooting instruments/tools
- Must be able to score at or above Class 1 mechanic level on the maintenance assessment
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have at least 2 years relevant experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Must be legally able to work in the United States
- Must read, write, and speak English
- Perform basic arithmetic - addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and work with fractions
- Able to safety operate machine shop equipment, instruments, and tools
Physical Requirements
- Must be drug and alcohol free
- Able to routinely lift up to 40 lbs without assistance
- Work in extreme hot/cold manufacturing environment
- Able to walk, stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Able to work in cramped areas and enter confined spaces
