Compensation:

$17.38 - $22.12 hourly

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

As a Machine Operator at Sandridge Crafted Foods, you'll be responsible for producing the high-quality foods our customers enjoy every day. You'll operate production equipment, monitor product quality, and help keep our manufacturing lines running safely and efficiently.

Whether you're setting up equipment, making adjustments during production, or ensuring every product meets our quality standards, you'll play an essential role in delivering safe, consistent products while working alongside a supportive team.

In this role, you will:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor food manufacturing equipment, including mixers, fillers, packaging machines, and processing systems
  • Monitor production processes and make equipment adjustments to maintain efficiency, quality, and product consistency
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and partner with Maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and complete required operational checks
  • Ensure all products meet company standards for food safety, quality, and accuracy
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation procedures, and workplace safety requirements
  • Complete production records, quality checks, and operational documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment
  • Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to meet daily production goals
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and operational efficiency
Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For:

  • A go-getter with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing setting or food manufacturing experience is a plus
  • High school diploma or GED required, and the ability to follow verbal and written work instructions
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing or industrial setting is awesome, but not required — we’ll train the right person
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment (lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods)
  • Basic mechanical skills and a knack for solving problems
  • Ability to follow directions and take pride in doing the job right
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when needed
