SMT Machine Operator

SMT Machine Operator | 1st Shift | $20-30+HR

We are seeking a dedicated Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator and Setup Technician. This role involves operating and setting up SMT equipment, with opportunities to work on the operations side of the business.

• Set up and operate SMT pick-and-place equipment.
• Load and verify electronic components and feeders.
• Run PCB assemblies through SMT production processes.
• Inspect boards for missing, misplaced, or defective components.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic equipment adjustments.
• Work from assembly drawings, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Assist with changeovers and setup for new production runs.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

• Experience in SMT machine operation and setup.
• Knowledge in electronics manufacturing and PCB assembly.
• Soldering experience.
• Ability to read work instructions and assembly documentation.
• Strong attention to detail.

• J Standard Certification (Soldering)
• IPC Certification
• Experience with machine operation and surface-mount technology.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
