Batch Maker - 1st Shift

Operates industrial blenders in accordance with established production schedules to ensure efficient and high-quality product blending.

• Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects before production, ensuring a clean, clear, and safe work environment.
• Read and follow work orders and formulas to meet production specifications and schedules.
• Examine materials, ingredients, or products against quality standards.
• Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, and products as required.
• Add and mix raw materials according to specifications.
• Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas as needed.
• Discharge blenders of powder when necessary.
• Ensure quality and conformity of blended products to meet established standards.
• Set up, clean, sanitize, and ensure proper operation of equipment before, after, and between runs.
• Complete cleaning logs and notify quality control for hygiene testing.
• Record operational and production data on specified forms and production documents.
• Report malfunctions to a supervisor and confirm proactive and routine maintenance.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of quality control and operational procedures.
• Meet and/or exceed production goals and guidelines for daily/weekly production runs.
• Observe plant safety rules and regulations, reporting all safety hazards in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• No formal educational requirement.

• No prior experience or training necessary.

• Demonstrate accepted ethical and professional business behavior.
• Execute ISO authority and responsibility; complete and maintain all required training and report suspected violations.
• Observe all safety procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use and maintain equipment and materials properly.

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, use hands, reach, talk, hear, smell, and lift up to 50 lbs.
