Salary: $24/hr + 10% Shift Differential - $26.40/
hr

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Chemical Plant Operator will support manufacturing activities at the company’s primary facility in Medina, OH. This position is responsible for assisting with mixing/blending materials, operating process equipment, recording production data, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The operator must follow all Standard Operating Procedures and comply with regulatory, safety, and environmental guidelinesalways.

• Assist with mixing and blending of raw materials.
• Fill, label, and prepare drums/totes and other bulk containers.
• Operate process equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with unloading rail cars and tank wagons.
• Operate a forklift to stage and move materials (training available if needed).
• Complete production and quality control reporting accurately and on time.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in production and storage areas.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts and inventory checks.
• Follow all safety procedures including use of PPE and safe handling of chemicals (MSDS knowledge).
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate’sDegreea plus).
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience (chemical plant environment preferred).
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills (English).
• Must be able to work night shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

• Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing environment (inside and outside conditions).
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull heavy drums (up to 440+lbs with assist).
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to climb, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
