Critical Care Nurse in Medina, OH

A registered nurse with critical care experience is needed for a contract position working in an inpatient setting including ICU, stepdown, and med/surg units. This role requires the ability to float between various inpatient areas, providing high-quality nursing care to critically and medically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in ICU, stepdown, and med/surg units
• Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Float between units as needed to cover staffing shortages and support patient needs
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations on a night shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Critical care nursing (ICU) experience highly preferred
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments across multiple inpatient areas
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
