About This Role
As an RN in the Wound Center at Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital, you will provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, assisting patients with various wound healing needs. This role is ideal for those who excel in patient interaction and are committed to delivering exceptional care.

Part-time, Day shift
- Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
- Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
- Administer medication and treatments.
- Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
- Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
- Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, and specialized patient care equipment.
- Develop, evaluate, adapt, and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
- Cover other nursing roles within the department.
- Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.
Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.
Experience:
One year of recent experience as an RN required.
LPN, Medical Assistant, or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role.
Licenses &
Certifications:
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification within 6 months of hire required.
