About This Role

As an RN Resident in the ICU at Cleveland Clinic’s Medina Hospital, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional patient care while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment. This role is ideal for new graduates looking to enhance their nursing skills in a dynamic setting.

• Pay: $36 - $56/hour
• Location: Medina, OH
• Facility: Medina Hospital
• Department/Unit: ICU
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care.
• Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors.
• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on surgery core learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when necessary.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

• Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required.
• Experience:
  • New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience required.

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
