• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing education and clinical nursing study.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required.

Experience:

• External applicants: 2 years of recent related nursing experience required.
• Internal applicants:
  Less than 2 years of experience considered with Chief Nursing Officer approval.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
