Part Time Veterinarian – High-Volume Spay / Neuter and Wellness Clinic  Make a Difference Every Day
Are you passionate about improving animal welfare and reducing pet overpopulation? We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Veterinarian to join our dedicated team at a high-volume, low-cost spay and neuter clinic. This is an opportunity to use your surgical skills to make a lasting impact in the community while enjoying a predictable schedule and a mission-driven work environment.
As our part-time Veterinarian, you will perform high-quality, high-volume spay and neuter surgeries while providing compassionate medical care for dogs and cats. You will work alongside an experienced team committed to delivering safe, efficient, and affordable services to pet owners and animal rescue organizations.
Perform high-volume spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats.
Conduct pre-operative examinations and determine surgical readiness.
Monitor patient care before, during, and after surgery.
Conduct wellness appointments, administer vaccinations and provide preventive healthcare.
Diagnose and treat minor medical conditions as appropriate.
Ensure high standards of anesthesia, pain management, and patient safety.
Maintain accurate medical records.
Mentor and collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff.
Promote best practices in animal welfare and preventive care.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent).
Current veterinary license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state.

Experience with high-volume spay/neuter surgery.
Excellent surgical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Commitment to compassionate, efficient, and accessible veterinary care.
No evening or emergency on-call responsibilities.
Predictable weekday schedule with an excellent work-life balance.
