Position Summary
This is a true business development role, full-time, on-site in the Medina office.
We're looking for someone who enjoys researching companies, identifying opportunities, and creatively connecting with decision makers before they become customers.
You won't be waiting for inbound leads. You'll proactively identify organizations that fit our ideal customer profile, develop relationships through Linked In, social media, networking, referrals, email, phone, and industry research, and convert those relationships into qualified opportunities.
You'll work directly with the CEO and CTO, owning the commercial sales process while partnering with our CTO during product demonstrations.
Our pricing, customer profiles, and software packages are already established. Your job is to generate opportunities, sell our solutions, and consistently bring new business into Market Brew.
ResponsibilitiesHunt for New Business
- Research companies, industries, and decision makers that match Market Brew's ideal customer profile.
- Prospect daily using Linked In, email, phone, referrals, networking, conferences, webinars, industry communities, and other creative outreach methods.
- Build authentic relationships with marketing leaders, SEO professionals, digital executives, agencies, and enterprise decision makers.
- Monitor industry news, AI search trends, company announcements, leadership changes, and buying signals to identify organizations that would benefit from Market Brew.
- Develop creative approaches to engage prospects rather than relying on generic cold outreach.
- Consistently build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Manage the Sales Process
- Qualify opportunities through discovery conversations.
- Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations.
- Partner with the CTO during demos while leading the commercial sales conversation.
- Present Market Brew's established software packages.
- Prepare proposals using standard pricing and package offerings.
- Lead negotiations and contract execution.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up until opportunities are won or lost.
- Keep CRM records accurate and current.
- Provide reliable pipeline updates and sales forecasts.
- 5–7 years of B2B business development or enterprise sales experience.
- Proven success in outbound prospecting and generating new business.
- Hunter mentality with a passion for opening doors and creating opportunities.
- Experience selling SEO software, enterprise SaaS, digital marketing technology, or agency services.
- Experience selling consultative software solutions with annual contract values of $65k+.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Creative in finding ways to connect with prospective customers.
- Comfortable using Linked In and other social platforms as business development tools.
- Highly organized with strong CRM discipline (Hub Spot, Salesforce, or similar).
- Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through without constant supervision.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and closing skills.
- Comfortable working alongside executive leadership during enterprise sales.
Within your first year, you will:
- Build a consistent pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities.
- Create new business through research, networking, and creative outreach.
- Successfully sell Market Brew's enterprise software packages.
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Become a trusted advisor to marketing and digital leaders.
Base salary plus commission, based on experience.
- Expected base range: $65,000+ annually
- Expected OTE: $110,000+ annually
