Developer and manufacturer of microprocessor-based engine controls seeks an engineer to assist primarily in embedded firmware design and development.

* Duties:
* - Provide ongoing support, enhancement, and bug-fixes for existing products in C and C#

- Write, debug, and validate firmware for new products in C and scripts

- Create appropriate documentation to facilitate engineering and production maintenance.

- Assist in diagnosis of field issues, and perform failure/root cause analysis on field returns.

* Skill Set:
* - Experience writing and debugging embedded firmware in

C.

- Knowledge of firmware design using formal techniques (UML, state diagrams, flow charts, etc.)

- Exposure to real-time embedded operating systems.

- Using version control tools, compliance with coding standards and process flow systems.

- Familiarity with communication protocols.

Experience with Ethernet and/or CAN/J1939 and MODBUS is a plus.

- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Lua) is a plus.

- Experience specifically with ARM microprocessors

- Experience with Eclipse development environments is a plus.

- Desire to be creative and make best-in-class products. xrlwcon Can-do attitude is a must.

* Qualifications:

* - BSEE or BSCS with relevant experience

- 1-5 year’s industry experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $ per year
