Freight Coordinator

Mancan is looking for a Freight Coordinator for a local Medina manufacturing company. This is a 1st Shift (6:00 am – 2:00 pm) with a pay rate of $18–$20 per hour.

• Plan, implement and manage transportation strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Manage daily transportation operations, including route planning, carrier selection, and freight consolidation.
• Ensure all shipments are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor shipment progress and communicate any issues or delays to internal teams and customers.
• Analyze transportation data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
• Work closely with internal teams—sales, purchasing, and production—to ensure seamless coordination of logistics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics providers.

• 3+ years of experience in transportation and logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transportation management software.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Detail‑oriented and organized.

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
